Sabine Pipe Line LLC is a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation and is headquartered in Houston, Texas. Sabine's 131-mile pipeline is used to transport natural gas between Erath, Louisiana and Port Arthur, Texas. Sabine is also the proud owner and operator of the Henry Hub, which provides access to more than a dozen interstate and intrastate interconnects. Due to its interconnect capability and history of providing reliable gas transportation service, the Henry Hub was selected in 1989 as the official delivery mechanism for the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) natural gas futures contract.
Sabine Pipe Line LLC offers both interruptible and firm transportation services to its customers. Over the years, Sabine has streamlined its nomination and scheduling procedures and has dedicated itself to providing reliable, flexible and cost-efficient transportation service. Features designed to benefit Sabine's shippers include no fuel retention, daily nomination confirmations and Operational Balancing Agreements at all Henry Hub points and all major mainline interconnects.
